Bobby Martinez; 1961 Pennsylvania, is a jazz saxophonist, composer and educator living in Madrid since 1996. He started on the sax at the age of 6 and at 15 he attended the Miami Dade Community College and his teacher was John Georgini, while attending college he had the opportunity to meet and play with artist like Michael & Randy Brecker, Ira Sullivan, Dexter Gordon, Bill Watrous, David Liebman. When he finished college he went to NY to enhance his saxophone technics with Eddie Daniels.

He has performed and/or recorded with many well known artist such as Paquito D'Rivera Milton Mustafa, Bill Watrous, Michael Mossman, Perico Sanbeat, Richie Cole, Ben Sidran, Jerry Gonzalez, Walfredo de los Reyes, Cachao, Ira Sullivan, Joe Williams, Miami Sound Machine, KC & the Sunshine Band among others. Presently,Bobby performs through out Spain and teaches saxophone and improvisation doing clinics and seminars. His fifth recording as a leader entitled (Bobby Martinez Latin-Elation)with guest such as Paquito D´Rivera, Alon Yavnai and Mario Morejon is his latest work.
